So probably the thing that got me the most was the technique. The picture is drawn beautifully and very smoothly, and definitely kudos for that. It doesn't have a huge amount of detail, but that seems to work with the idea of the picture, and gives it a more simplistic and stunning appearance. The picture itself has an original concept of an elf, and even though it isn't completely created without the influence of santa and such, (though I do understand the whole Christmas theme) it is still a largely original piece. Plus, it hardly changes the amazing artistry. Love the colors used, definitely a big plus, and all in all, a brilliant picture which I can't help but 'naaawwww' at when I see it.
